Occasionally I will spy one hanging out in my yard – always a treat… recently I had a stare down with one of them out my kitchen window while he sat on my wall peeking in

The trails in the McDowell Mountains near my Scottsdale home are a favorite of mine. Pinnacle Peak is one of the most iconic and recognizable rock formations and this painting is from the area surrounding that popular hiking spot.
